Recently, Reba shared on social media about her trip aboard the Canyon Spirit. Canyon Spirit is an elevated rail adventure through the American Southwest and a gateway to America’s most iconic national parks. This train brings you through the rugged scenery of the red rocks as you ride in comfort in one of their glass-domed cars.
You may have heard of the Rocky Mountaineer before, and their train operating the Rockies to the Red Rocks route between Utah and Colorado has recently been renamed The Canyon Spirit. The Canyon Spirit only travels during the day, so in the evening you will enjoy a stay at one of their world-class hotel partners. This is perfect for those who A) Don't want to miss any scenery and B) Don't want to sleep on a train!
A trip with Canyon Spirit includes:
Regionally-inspired meals as well as beverages and snacks aboard the train
Accommodations
Transfers to the train station
Luggage Handling
Gratuities
You can choose between a two-day or three-day journey aboard the Canyon Spirit. The Two-day option travels from Moab to Denver, with an overnight stop in Glenwood Springs. For the three day Trip, you will travel from Denver to Salt Lake City and stop overnight in Glenwood Springs and Moab. My family stayed in Glenwood Springs on a National Park trip to Colorado in 2023 and I can attest that this area is gorgeous! You can also choose to extend your stay in the Southwest through one of Canyon Spirit's extended journey packages.
Reba said it best: "Have you ever seen the Southwest like THIS?"
